As a pop culture fanatic, there’s pretty much nothing better to do during a quarantine than consuming obsessive amounts of television. Over here on my couch, we’ve been dying to see this massive blow-up Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been teasing in promos where Kim and Kourtney actually fight each other.

If you are a KUWTK fan, then you know this blow up on the 18th season premiere of the show was inevitable. You see, last season we saw just how fed up Kourtney was with filming the long-standing reality show. Kim and Khloe even secretly followed her around last season when they thought she was being shady and not filming as much as them.

Here’s the thing…

Kim and Khloe have had the main storylines on the show in recent seasons with the other sisters and even Kris taking a back seat. Kourtney even expressed how in past years it felt like “Kourtney and Khloe against Kim” but now it’s “Kim and Khloe against Kourtney”.

It’s normal for sisters to fight and the Kardashian crew is no different. Over the past eighteen seasons, KUWTK cameras have caught so many of this family’s real and raw disagreements. From that time Kris Humphries pushed Kim in the ocean and she lost her $75,000 earrings (first world problems, amiright?) to Kim telling Kourtney she’s the “least interesting to look at. All golden moments in reality TV history.

But nothing has EVER gone down like this.

In the most recent episode, the 2 sisters who are supposed to be the oldest and ya know set an example for their 4 younger siblings, a hoard of children, nieces and nephews, get into a physical altercation after Kim accuses Kourtney of not having much of a work ethic compared to herself and Khloe.

Which, of course, sent Kourtney through the roof.

“You act like I don’t do sh*t,” said Kourtney. “Change the narrative in your mind! I will literally f*** you up if you mention it again.”

“Shut the f**k up and don’t laugh like that, you look like a freak!”

That’s when things got physical between the two sisters.

We haven’t seen a fight like this.. well ever. But remember the infamous “don’t be rude” moment when Kim hit Khloe with her purse? That was magical.

Aside from a few hilarious lapses, the siblings usually keep the arguments pretty civil on the show using mostly sly verbal attacks. However, over the last three years, their debates have changed, throwing more personal jabs to one another.

And now, a little more physical.

My only thing is after watching the fight is like: Where’s the lie tho?

Kim and Khloe do film more. They have more projects and they do it all while juggling their kids, husband/baby daddy and everyday stresses of life. They make appearances when they’re sick and do anything to keep the family in the headlines.

Could their approach be a little gentler and considerate of Kourtney’s feelings?

What Didn’t Make Headlines

What we don’t see in the headlines is how Kendall was involved in the argument. Oh yeah, she was there too.

During the discussion, Kim tells the sisters,  “If I were on my deathbed, I would still show up. Mom is so used to me and Khloe whenever we’re sick… [Kourtney] you don’t care about stuff”.

When her name isn’t mentioned, Kendall asked, “What about me?” to which Kim responds, “Well, no, you get anxiety, and it’s hard.”

Kendall, who is obviously offended, reacts saying, “I work my f**king ass off whether I’m sick or not,” but is immediately ignored when Kourtney begins to speak again.

Poor Kenny. We see you and we love you.

All of this has spiraled onto social media and it looks like the drama is still hot between the girls.

And there are plenty more replies to tweets like this from Kourtney.

But that’s a round-up of the fight, you guys. Honestly can’t believe how good this episode was. If this is what the season premiere produced, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.
